Time for another catch-up on some of the latest things to find their way onto the archive shelves!
Items we’ve added to the archive recently include this selection, starting on the far left with the 1998 Netherlands edition of Doug Winter’s Revelations anthology (here titled Angst & Apocalyps) which includes Clive’s Chiliad.
Other books include editions of Clive Barker’s Dark Worlds from Macabra / Darkside in Brazil and Livr’S and Faute de frappe in France (with thanks to the latter for hosting us for a signing at their Book Fair in Paris last Halloween!), beautiful new paperback editions of the three volumes of Abarat from Fanucci Editore in Italy, the new edition of Books of Blood volumes 1, 2 and 3 in the US with a new afterword by Grady Hendrix, Trevor Kennedy’s Hellraiser issue of Phantasmagoria, Del Howison’s short story collection with an introduction by Clive, Jump Tribe from Subterranean Press, the Barkercast’s excellent book of Occupy Midian interviews from Ryan Danhauser and Jose Leitao, and the large format Mondo book of LP covers, including their Hellraiser soundtrack artwork.
The collected box set of DVDs for After Dark Horrorfest 4, with Dread as one of the ‘8 films to die for’, is alongside a steelbook Midnight Meat Train from Australia, the 4K Underworld from Kino Lorber in the US, a Hellraiser: Bloodline from Japan, a Hellraiser: Inferno from South Korea, a Quicksilver Highway VHS from Thailand, and both the Chatterer and Pinhead editions of Arrow’s Quartet of Torment box set with our hardback book about the first four Hellraiser films, Ages of Desire, included in each set. We’ve also contributed to the booklets in the new releases of Lord of Illusions from Umbrella in Australia and the 4K Nightbreed from Arrow in the UK. Rounding out the DVDs and Blu-rays here are the steelbook and limited 4K releases of David Bruckner’s Hellraiser from Turbine Medien in Germany.
Trading cards include the new Fright Rags Hellraiser cards and entries from the Horrorible Kids and Garbage Pail Kids series, including a set of signature cards from Doug Bradley, Andrew Robinson, Barbie Wilde, Nick Vince and Simon Bamford – and Brent Engstrom’s original Garbage Pail Kids pencil rough sketch for the 2018 series’ Pin Ed / Hell Frasier card is at the back.
Other original artwork includes Jim Baikie’s page 16 of the second Nightbreed comic from 1990 and Daniele Serra’s original watercolour portrait of Pinhead. The Wayne Barlowe Brushfire art portfolio has Clive’s recommendation for the source book on it: “Wayne Barlowe conjures the Inferno with Boschian particularity. This is a unique volume by an extraordinary artist.”
Right up to date are the premium chrome stickers and acrylic diorama from Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 to celebrate the upcoming Hellraiser-themed House of Horror. Nightbreed has a Cavity Colors vinyl turntable slipmat and an enamel pins set from Gutter Garbs and Scream Factory. Candyman is represented by a Midnite Movies figural bag clip. Hell on Earth’s soundtrack CD release from Japan is next to one of a set of Bloodline black and white photos and transparencies that we’ve happily sourced within a large binder of promotional materials for the movie.
Rounding out the selection, Fangoria’s current issue celebrates the upcoming Hellraiser: Revival game which we’re looking forward to immersing ourselves in later this year.
